At Advanced Dental Care, whether you are missing one tooth, or lots of teeth, we have a variety of options available to help you smile confidently again.
Our office offers the convenience of same day crowns using an in office Cerec Machine. This State of the Art technology makes it possible for you to have a brand new custom crown made for you within one appointment. This process includes preparing the natural tooth, taking a 3D scan of the prepared tooth, fabricating the custom crown in office, and bonding it to the natural tooth using professional grade dental cement.
At Advanced Dental Care, we use the highest quality Zirconia ceramic crowns. These crowns are very durable, and can be matched to the color of your natural teeth. They are also biocompatible, meaning they won't cause adverse reactions when implanted into the human body. Another advantage of these crowns is that unlike PFM crowns (Porcelain-fused-to-metal), Zirconia ceramic crowns will not create a dark line along the gums.
A bridge may be recommended if you're missing one or more teeth. Gaps left by missing teeth can eventually cause the remaining teeth to rotate or shift into the empty spaces. This can cause a bad bite and/or crooked teeth. The imbalance caused by missing teeth can also lead to gum disease and TMJ disorders. A bridge usually will consist of two anchor teeth and at least one pontic. The anchor teeth are natural teeth that are covered with a crown, and these are fused to the middle pontics which replace the missing teeth.
Implants for Crowns and Bridges
A dental implant is a metal post that creates a stable foundation for a crown that replaces a missing tooth. It is placed directly into the jawbone and is the closest thing to your natural tooth. If you are replacing one tooth, a single post is all that is necessary. For the replacement of multiple teeth, you may need to have several dental implants.
Implants for Dentures
Implants for dentures are a good option for denture wearers that suffer from ill-fitting dentures that lead to discomfort and cause disagreeable breath because of food trapped beneath the prosthesis.
